June Video Premiere: How to Make a Hip-Hop Hit

The newest rapisodic drama from Trizzle Threat, aka CKC, TMC and the biz who puts the show in showbiz, Beena Steena.

The crew can't stop fighting about what song to write next, but with a little help from fate and a band from the early 90's, they create the hit they need!

Shot, directed and edited by Patrick Meaney of Respect Films.

Trizzle Threat began in 2009 as a comedic rap duo featuring Miss CKC (Carolyn Castiglia, VH1/ego trip's White Rapper Show & Miss Rap Supreme) and TMC (Tom McCaffrey, VH1's Best Week Ever & Comedy Central's Premium Blend). Their first video, How To Rob Comics, included cameos from Janeane Garofalo and Aisha Tyler and was featured on CollegeHumor.com. Shortly thereafter, they were joined by Beena Steena (Mara Herron, Fly Girl & That Chick Mara Herron) and their parody of the Sophie B. Hawkins classic Damn (You Wish) (dir. Anya Garrett) was nominated in the Best Comedic Short Film category at the 2009 ECNY Awards.

Trizzle Threat recently appeared in Joke Life at Comix and will be performing live at UCB on June 10, 2010 as a part of Sketchfest. You can see them on Comedy Central's The Atom Show on June 15 and hear their killer tracks on the hip-hop/comedy CD Get Rich or Move Back in With My Dad produced by Super Duper Records, Summer 2010.
